Description

The Mount Margaret Trail is a relatively flat trail that leads to great views of a deep canyon. You actually descend in elevation a little from the trailhead to Mount Margaret. A lot of the trail is through open meadows with rocky outcroppings. Hiking the flat terrain for over 3 miles doesn't hint at the expansive views you get when the trail reaches the base of Mount Margaret.
