The hike to Diamond Lake starts at the Fourth of July Trailhead and travels along the Arapaho Pass Trail to the Diamond Lake Trail to Diamond Lake. The Diamond Lake Trail continues past Diamond Lake but the stats on this page are for just going to the lake. This hike has a lot to offer. Great views of peaks and rolling tundra above, a small pretty waterfall on the way and scenic Diamond Lake. If done in the height of summer this trail has amazing wildflowers. The Fourth of July Trailhead is busy and the parking lot can fill up. This hike is within the Indian Peaks Wilderness and wilderness regulations apply.
