This site is designed to help you easily find hiking trails in Colorado. Individual trails have concise desriptions with pictures, maps and links to helpful info. Currently most of the listed hikes are in Northern Colorado along the Front Range, with many hikes in the Fort Collins area.
There are several helpful features to help you quickly find a hiking trail that fits what you're looking for.
The Hike Finder Page has all the hiking trails listed. You can filter that list by the features that you want, such as miles roundtrip, elevation gain, main feature(ex. lake or waterfall) and other criteria. Use multiple filters to find exactly what you're looking for.
The Map Page has all the trails listed and their location on the map. There is a quick zoom feature to help you explore the area you're interested in.
Some other things...
All the markers on the maps on this site are for the trailhead of the hike, not the destination of the hike.
It's always a good idea to check with the managing agency of the trail before you go, such as the National Forest Service, for info on current conditions and closures.
